systems. In collaboration with the college IT Directors and CCCS senior management, CCCS - IT establishes IT policies and standards for both
the system office and the colleges.
CCCS - IT needs an HR-Payroll Project Manager/Business Analyst!
The Project Manager/Business Analyst (PM/BA) position reports to the Sr. PM/BA for Finance and Human Resources (HR). The position manages projects and project teams to successfully facilitate the on-time delivery of HR and payroll project objectives and keeping other team leads and management apprised of statuses. The PM/BA serves as the main contact for HR and payroll and works both independently as well as functions as a member of other teams for cross functional projects. This position will assist in identifying priorities, develop business cases and detailed requirements, and participate in testing. The PM/BA follows established project management methodologies throughout each of the projects and from time to time may participate in setting or refining the standards for project management.
The PM/BA requires flexibility as daily schedules may fluctuate to accommodate organizational needs, deadlines, and delivery of services, including evening and weekend hours. Occasional travel to colleges across the State may be required.
REQUIREMENTS
We require a bachelor's degree from
an accredited college or university; a master's degree is preferred. We will accept additional, professional level technical and project
management experience as a substitution for the degree on a year for year basis.
In addition to the degree we require at least three years of progressively responsible project management experience that included coordinating business and technical groups. Three years of functional HR and/or payroll ERP system experience, preferably with Banner, will also be considered. This position requires a solid understanding and business acumen in HR and payroll functions.
We prefer the above experience to include supporting a 24x7 environment and/or higher education experience.
